Metso Signs Key Agreement to Supply Equipment for Jinnan Steel's New Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant

A significant strategic cooperation agreement was recently inked between Jinnan Iron and Steel Group and Metso at Metso's China R&D Center in Changsha, Hunan. The signing, witnessed by industry leaders, marks a pivotal step in advancing sustainable mining solutions for global iron ore processing.

Key Equipment Supply:

• Metso will provide multiple sets of Metso HRT FFP3512 vertical filter presses, VTM-4500 vertical mills, and slurry pump product for the new concentrator project.

Finnish-based Metso is a global leader in metal and mineral process equipment and technologies, strengthening its position as a critical equipment supplier for Jinnan’s new high-grade iron ore concentrator, designed to produce 200 million tons of reduced iron concentrate per year for direct smelting, and located 12.6 kilometers north of Oman.
